INTRODUCTION OF NEW MEMBERS -   NONE

 

FED REPORT:   (next Fed meeting is Dec. 01)

 

Micky is working on RSS  feeds for conservation info on the web

 

Vote for president and other officers of fed is coming up,

 

Club rosters and dues are due for Dec. meeting

 

Talking about an invitational tournament in 2008 to draw in non-members

 

TOC sites for 2009 due,   TBF talk a little there next meeting is Dec. 8 @ Chisago comm.. center

 

YOUTH REPORT :

 

working on casting for kids for this year thinking some time in April, youth tournaments went well last year thanks to all the people who help out

 

TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR REPORT:

 

The tournament director ask that we all keep lake ramps in mind when we nominate lakes for next year

 

OLD BUSINESS – NONE

 

NEW BUSINESS :

 

Talked about capping new members – motion made and passed to cap at 29 full members

 

A lot of talk about boaters/non-boaters trying to get the non-boater to take there time at the controls

To try to make our club better 

 

Filled open officer positions – vice president Art brennhofer, fed rep Josh Douglas, reporting sec David Larsen

 

Talked about incentives for club meetings and events – Rich will draft up a model to talk about

 

Add youth tournaments to club tournaments list, looking at adding a week night event for the youth

 

Talked about keeping the gopher bass TBF Club – more info to come next meeting

 

Talk about the dues – will remain the same this year

$150 full member, $125 for 1st year, $100 full member w/o state fed., $30 / $10 per tournament associate member

 

Talked about dropping a tournament of standings – motion was made and passed to drop one tournament

 

Sport and Rich have been checking on lodging for 2008 TOC – more info to come

 

Talked about the club proposal  of the TOC for 2009 on Pokegama Lake (we will need people to work the event)
